I don’t often wear hats but I am drawn to unusual, or different, designs. So I enjoyed coming across this rather fun “Top Hat” on a recent excursion.
I’d only just taken off my dress, whilst waiting for Hubby to get his camera ready, when I saw other walkers emerging on the path over his shoulder. Lots and lots of other walkers actually! So I quickly ducked behind the tree, slipped my dress back on, and told Hubby he’d have to catch me up as I strode off ahead of him.
Luckily though, the path wasn’t quite so busy later on when we walked back towards the car park . . . so we had time for a more relaxed pose!

“Actually that noise isn’t coming from this Tractor” I said to Hubby.
“It’s from inside that building”.
“Oh look . . . it’s a ‘Pump House’.” I giggled as we neared the doorway.
“It’s not the sort of pumping you’re thinking” Hubby said as he read the plaque outside. “It was the old Water Pumping Station that serviced the city in the late 1800’s. Let’s take a look.” he said excitedly.
“The Flywheel weighs 16 tonne and used to pump up to 13,600 cubic metres of water per day” he shouted across the viewing gallery.
“I can’t hear you properly over this noise” I shouted back. “But it’s certainly pumping out lots of hot air!”
“Whoo . . . I’ve come over all sticky” I said as I walked round to join him.
“Come on, let’s go back outside, this constant noise is getting unbearable.”
“Gosh, it’s like standing on top of a huge, shuddering, vibrator isn’t it.” I shouted out, “I wouldn’t have been able to control myself being stuck in here all day!!!”
But, as you may remember, I do like getting up-close to big equipment occasionally . . . at least for a little while.

“No we can’t take it home with us!” Hubby laughed. “It probably doesn’t even work. And anyway, it’s far too big!”
“But you know how much I love big ones!” I teased. “And it’s all nice and shiny!”
“It looks freshly cleaned and well looked after too. I think it’s only just been dumped here you know.”
“Oooh . . . this lid is quite heavy. I could have lots more fun than just cooking things with this!!!”
“And look at this . . . a new spanking brush!” I giggled as I searched through the shelves underneath.
“Perhaps we could wave down a passing van to help get it back to ours.”

“Hold still !!!” I told him as he thrashed from side-to-side with every new pinch. “It will be better if you just stay still !!!”
“What’s that? You thought I was meaning my Strap-On when I said Pegging!”
“Well no, that’s for later! . . . After I’ve threaded my string and . . .
pulled these off !!!”

Wine . . . my only vice !!! . . . Oh, well alright then, perhaps not my only vice!
But when I picked up a leaflet at our hotel advertising a Wine Tasting Tour at a nearby Winery, I just couldn’t resist !!!
As the tour guide led us into their Wine Cave I immediately began to feel chilled and relaxed . . . even before sipping from the first glass!
And, to be amongst such impressive wine barrells, was really quite intoxicating!
As our tour party continued along the barrell gallery, I was becoming more and more excited!
Until . . . at last . . . after so much description and explanation . . .
the first bottle was uncorked!
And . . . by the end of the tastings . . . I was feeling overwhelmed by so many different choices, and so was very happy to see that . . .
Hubby already had his hand deep in his pocket . . . reaching for his wallet,
of course . . . to purchase my choices!!!
