 a Stainless Steel Restraint Ring inside !!!


So you can imagine my delight on being sent this wonderfully new and different device from Sohimi … a new, to me at least, sex toy manufacturer.


The company website has a reasonably extensive collection of products encompassing the usual range of vibrators, dildos for both women and men, as well as anal toys, male masturbators and sex dolls. But it was of course this Ring that caught my eye as something rather unusual … and something I could certainly put to good use in my FemDom adventures as I hadn’t come across anything like it before.

So … let’s get my two cons out of the way first, before I get to my pros !!!

Firstly, that interesting rattling and clinking did have a downside in that, apparently, the postman was clearly intrigued and observed “don’t know if it’s still in one-piece or not?” As actually one corner of the box had suffered a little crush-damage that, whilst it hadn’t split or opened, did appear to be pushed-out a little from the inside. So the internal packing would certainly benefit from additional wrapping (perhaps with crushed brown paper balls or something similar).


And secondly, the locks (more later*) are in my opinion too small to make for easy attachment.


But, as with all the items at Sohimi, the Ring is actually very, very reasonably priced …

Now … with my favourite chambers closed during lockdown I have been unable to do any proper “field-testing”.

But luckily I always have a resident “fall-back” so-to-speak … Subby1 … of course.

As you will see from my photos here the ring is supplied as three curved sections and one straight bar. Made from high-quality, ¾ inch diameter, Stainless Steel, the curves easily push together, secured by a push-button rivet which slots into a hole on the adjoining ends of each section.

There are actually two holes about an inch apart which allow for a slightly wider overall diameter of the final ring. Using this wider setting, the overall diameter of my Subs ring, makes 23 inches across.

The idea of the horizontal restraining bar, with a welded triangular D-ring at each end, is that the ring is placed over the submissives bare-bottom, and the bar is secured in position under his, or her, stomach by locking each end to a corresponding D-ring on the outer section.

Now this procedure does take some practice … and was somewhat frustrating and difficult to achieve with my initial excitement … and Subby1’s nervous discomfort.

*It was finally achieved though, as you can see from the photos below. And, as you can also see, it did present a fun target for me to begin my spanking. However, as that spanking intensified and Subby1’s jerking and twisting increased, one of the locks actually came apart. 


But, as you can probably imagine, I do have lots of locks in my collection … all of them bigger. And that proved to be the saviour of our interrupted session.
The longer shafts of my bigger locks made it much easier and subsequently much quicker to fit.

And that meant our session was able to continue successfully … to my satisfaction, if not Subby1’s.


A small black, leather-look, hand whip is also included with the Ring. Though my preference is for larger, heavier implements, it is actually well made and more than suitable for gentle teasing and arousal.

So … I am so looking forward to further “field-testing” in the near future hopefully. With my bigger locks of course!!!

Cons: As noted above the packaging could be improved for delivery. In my view, the locks are not large enough, nor strong enough for ease of use.
