It was extremely busy at the Lighthouse this summer … much, much busier than in previous years we’ve visited*.

Including one gentleman who sat on the steps behind me reading his book, for the whole duration of our visit ….

… despite the arrival, shortly after us, of a mini-bus full of noisy kayak enthusiasts who were obviously setting-up for a days paddling.

But our summer vacation just wouldn’t be complete without at least a few pictures of one of our favourite views.

“Yes it is quite quiet today … but that’s probably because it’s so uncomfortably hot” I gasped as we crossed the Causeway for the first time on our summer holiday this year.

“Well then let’s move on out to the monument, it may be cooler out there” Hubby replied.

“No !!! … there’s no breeze out here either” I exclaimed, “I think I need to sit down to catch my breath”.

“Actually I think it’s hotter sitting down” I told him. “The top of that wall is like sitting on the kitchen hob back at the apartment”.

“But look, this is your last photo! There’s a runner coming down from the other side now and I want to get back to the Taverna for that cold drink you promised me earlier!!!”

Although this was our first visit this summer, we have walked that Causeway many times before. Starting back in 2016 and revisited on several other occasions in the years since!

So … I shall, of course, be adding this years visit to my Exposé Vŭ memories!!

AND … speaking of Revisiting … this week’s Sinful Sunday is the lovely Molly’s 700th consecutive edition, which I’m sure you will all agree is a huge milestone!!!

And I urge you to visit as many of those 700 Sinful Sundays by kissing the lovely sexy lips below!

After we climbed back up the stairs to the beach road following our discovery of the Abandoned Beach Table from last Sunday’s Sinful post, we continued walking towards the local Tavernas for our evening meal, when we came across these abandoned chairs and metal cabinet.

I can only assume they came from the same place as that table down on the sand. I did think of calling out to the gentleman who had just jogged by, if he knew where they came from but Hubby said he already looked to be struggling with the heat and it was best not to disrupt his rhythm!

But anyway, I have added them to my Sinful #NaughtyScavengerHunt Abandoned Furniture collection (some of which are linked below)!!

Even at dusk, with the sun slowly sinking, it has still been very hot and sticky most nights. So we’ve been going out for an evening stroll before setting off for the Tavernas at the end of the beach.

And last night we came upon this abandoned table that had been left down on the sand, presumably because someone couldn’t be bothered to carry it back up the narrow steps to the road from where it must have come!

So I couldn’t resist taking a closer look … and adding it to my Sinful #NaughtyScavengerHunt Abandoned Furniture collection (some of which are linked below)!!
