As I mentioned in my “Modest Surrenders” post recently, I receive a really wide range of requests for lots and lots of different kinks, for my London Dominatrix Mistressing sessions.
But the first things I pack when preparing for a session … no matter what the specific theme of the request … are my floggers.
Because, some initial impact-play and warming-up, is almost always the way I begin each session … whether with one of my regular subs, or a new attendee visiting for the first time.
That’s because some gentle teasing and stimulation, normally beginning slowly across the back or bottom, is I find, the perfect way to break the ice and set the mood for what is to follow. Even if my visitor has not actually asked for any impact-play at all.
Now, all of my favourite chambers have their own array of floggers hanging on display and ready to use. But I prefer to choose from my own collection that I have accumulated over the past five years of my fun hobby.
Partly because I know they have been meticulously maintained and cleaned after each session. But also because one becomes familiar with the weight, balance (most important for longer use) and feel … and which will best fit each particular scenario as required.
I have over a dozen different favourites hanging in my cabinet. Each of a different size and material to suit a specific purpose.
I prefer wooden handles for a firm and comfortable grip, and full-length full-bodied falls (strands) in hard leather. But I have several floggers in rubber, suede, flex, knotted rope and even plastic falls … as well as two smaller cock-and-ball floggers (one in soft leather, one in a firmer plastic).
I purchased my first three floggers, at different times, from the excellent once-a-month (pre-covid) LAM Fetish market here in London. But subsequently I’ve been very privileged to have had a number gifted to me by manufacturers as review items, and also by subs themselves.
But if you are thinking about buying a flogger for the first time, I would seriously suggest you either visit LAM upon it’s return, or from a reputable high-street shop. (I can recommend several in London if you’d like to send an email or DM).
And as always, I’d just say have fun … start slow and build the rhythm to suit both flogger and floggee !!!

When I first began my Femdom sessions in earnest five years ago … goodness doesn’t time fly-by when one is having fun … I was initially surprised with the huge variety of “specific” requests I was receiving.

“But, but, it’s massive Mistress” he stammered nervously.
“You told me you could take much bigger the last time!” I reminded him as I pushed him back onto the bench. “In fact, as I recall, you begged me. ‘Bigger, deeper Mistress’ you said. So . . . now we shall see, won’t we !!!”
Well, it is rather large actually. Larger than it looks on the Cloud 9 website page. In fact, I did struggle to attach it into my strap-on harness at first. But once clipped into place it does feel fun to wear. Much heavier than my “normal dick” and I love the swing of it as I swivel my hips, and walk across the floor.
But, first things first. The purpose of this post is to actually tell you all about the Cloud 9 Premium Starter Kit . . . and then, after that, how it felt for me. And of course for my, not-so-willing, assistant.
So, the 8 inch Dong Starter Kit is supplied in a triangular shaped, clear plastic fold-out holder. The sort of packaging made to hang in rows from those wall racks at your local toy shop. (Well possibly not your “toy-shop” down the road, but you know the sort of wall display racks I mean). The plastic is shape-moulded to perfectly contain the 8 inch dong itself, as well as the accompanying Medium Butt Plug and the two Power-Stretch Cock Rings. (Which my assistant insisted “look too small” when he first saw them. But they are super-stretchy and do work just fine! LOL !!!)
The base of the pack contains a small “use and care” folded leaflet and, thankfully, a black fabric travel-pouch. I say thankfully because I did find the pack itself rather difficult. Not difficult to open or close, because it does open and snap back in position quite easily . . . but rather difficult to easily store in one’s wardrobe or cabinet. So the pouch is certainly a welcome accessory, though it would benefit from being a couple of inches deeper as, when pushing the Dong inside, along with the Butt Plug as well, it’s difficult to pull the draw-string of the pouch completely closed without showing a little of the base of the Dong itself. (Or the head, depending which way you insert the items into the pouch).
Now, I must confess that on first touch I found the Dong, and the Plug, rather sticky and yucky to pick up and hold. I love, and am most used to, silicone for most of my usual toys. So the PVC plastic of both toys, but particularly the Dong, probably because of it’s size and weight, feels rather . . . well “tacky” . . . I suppose is the best way of describing it. However a liberal coating of lube when applying a condom, which of course is always necessary with any insertable, soon overcame that first reaction. And I actually do like the feel of the veined-shaft when I rub the palms of my hand over it. So, coupled with the way the weight of it “hangs” in my harness, I have come to enjoy the feel of my 8-inch Dong.
I’m not quite so keen on the testicle-shaped moulding at the base of it though. I know it is supposed to convey the notion of realism but it neither feels, nor looks, realistic in my view. So that part of the design doesn’t do anything for me . . . though it may appeal to others of course.
The dong is not exclusively a strap-on appendage as it’s suction-cupped base is designed to also be used for solo-play, (more of that later). So this base, and the make-believe balls, make the dong 9.5 inches in length. The 8-inch in it’s name refers to the actual “insertable” length, so with a circumference of 6 inches (1.9 inches in diameter) it certainly is an impressive toy.
The accompanying Butt Plug has, as you can see from my photos, a flat-flanged shaped base to ensure it’s 1.5 inch diameter, and 5 inch insertable length, doesn’t get lost inside the wearer’s bottom. I found it quite useful as I “warmed-up” my assistant. And he certainly found it quite manageable . . . and the tapered shaft comfortable . . . and quite enjoyable as well apparently.
So . . . I hear you asking, how was the dong? . . . in practice so to speak?
Well I always get rather excited on first receiving a new toy in the post. So, notwithstanding those first feelings of “yucky-ness”, I was soon experimenting with my lube . . . and that suction-cup base. No . . . not anally . . . that’s just not my thing. Well, not normally anyway, and certainly not for something as big as the 8-inch Dong. Rather I wanted to try to sit down, gently gently, front ways on . . . if you know what I mean.
Well, the suction-cup certainly works on my bathroom floor . . . but as much as I wanted to, I found that I wasn’t able to achieve the depth I had thought I would . . . or wished I could!!! So it was a quick retreat to the bedroom and a more comfortable position of laying back and, re-affirming my confidence and control.
But, as I say, the suction-cup did affix easily and firmly to my tiled floor, so if that sounds a fun and workable position for you, then I’m sure you will have a lot of fun. Just have a lot of lube close to hand and . . . don’t lose your balance!
So, a few days later, how would my assistant fare once the Dong was carefully inserted into my strap-on . . . and with a different point of entry?
“No . . . Red Mistress. Red. It’s too wide!” he whimpered, and twisted and turned. And pleaded! Despite all my own twisting and turning . . . and coaxing and commanding . . . it was just not going to work for him. It really is just too big, and too tight a fit for him at least.
However all is not lost for keeping the 8 inch Dong attached to my harness, at least not in the long-term, because I have several more “assistants” whom I suspect may well wish to offer themselves to . . . “assist” in the future. (As I mentioned in my “Modestly Packed” post at Sinful Sunday recently).
