We all enjoy having new additions to our wardrobes occasionally don’t we . . . well, actually not just occasionally for me, I enjoy new additions all the time!!!
Because new clothes always make one feel special, and sexy . . . and this lovely new Noir Handmade Wet Look Skirt certainly makes me feel like that, and has quickly become one of my favourites when opening my wardrobe for a kinky evening out.
It arrived from my favourite on-line Kink store, Uberkinky, a few weeks ago and I was instantly captivated by the naughty, open-back look . . . and feel . . . as I slid it on. It felt just lovely, sexy and clingy without being tight or uncomfortable. In fact the fit was absolutely perfect and the front zip fastening makes it so quick and simple to put on . . . and to take off LOL!!!
The double-stitched shiny PVC waistband is 2¼ inches wide and adds a stylish look to the trim, whilst the skirt itself is made from that lovely polyester-spandex-type material which seems to just stretch and cling in all the right places, complimenting one’s curves rather than squeezing them tightly and making my bumps too obvious. I like wearing tight rubber and latex, but often feel my curves are being pushed and squeezed out of shape. But this skirt just feels so comfortable and shapely to wear and I’ve always, ALWAYS got such lovely comments whenever I’ve worn it.
But, of course, a lot of those lovely comments are about the look when I turn-around because, this Noir Handmade Wet Look Skirt has the most wonderfully naughty open-back to show off one’s bottom. The open-cut shape just seems to perfectly accommodate my cheeks. It’s almost as though that “handmade” feature was in fact made-to-measure . . . but I’m sure that’s just because of the way the material stretches and clings so naturally.
The skirt arrives with the three removeable straps attached of course. They are secured in place with popper studs on each side of the perfectly hemmed “openness”. The straps are each 1¼ inches wide . . . my “modesty straps” I call them . . . and are spaced equally apart to allow for teasing and tantalising glimpses of lots of one’s bare bottom. And, should you decide to display even more bare skin, as I have on the several occasions I’ve worn them out, the straps are easily and effortlessly detached from their studs.
I’ve started my evening with the straps on, and then as I’ve become a little more daring (naughty???), I’ve discretely removed them and popped them into my handbag. Perhaps starting out by leaving just the middle one attached . . . and then, later in the evening, removing that one too!
And I can certainly tell you I’ve then had even more attention . . . and nice comments . . . as the evening has gone on!!!
The whole skirt is so lovely and light, that it can be easily folded and carried in your bag if you’re travelling to a club or event and planning to change on arrival, and you prefer not to wear it on the way there!
The skirt is supplied with a complete spare set of studs, and another thoughtful and lovely touch, are the hanger-loops stitched into the PVC waistband. Modesty Ablaze reviews the Black Leather Flogger from Blackhorses
Some weeks ago I posted a review on the Blackhorses-of-India Brown Leather Flogger FL0021 . . . and . . . as I mentioned, there were several other rather interesting items I received at the same time. All slightly different but all equally wonderful . . . so much so that I decided to review each of them separately . . . one stroke at a time.
And the one I’ve chosen for this post . . . and for my video review >here< is their amazing Black Leather Flogger FL0022.
Like all of the implements I received from Blackhorses . . . the workmanship in this flogger, is simply the best I have ever had the pleasure to hold . . . and use !!!
It has 42 Leather Straps . . . Yes that’s right! 42 !!! . . . made, I’m told, from Indian Buffalo Leather. Each of them are 72mm wide, 3mm thick and 21 inches in length. I’m not sure exactly how they are secured into the handle . . . as I think the binding trim is more for the look, rather than actually holding them in place . . . but I can tell you, that I have been regularly using this wonderful instrument for three months now without any signs at all of wear and tear. (Well not on the flogger itself of course . . . though the same can’t be said for the backs and bottoms of the subs that I have been using it on!!!) And those lovely 42 straps are still just as firmly and securely attached as they were for my very first session.
The handle itself is made from a solid, varnished wood. It is 8 inches long, one and a half inches in diameter, and 5 inches in circumference. It feels every bit as substantial as it looks . . . and despite feeling quite heavy in the palm of ones hand compared to other floggers I have owned, it is wonderfully comfortable to hold and use. And I think it’s weight and substance actually makes it easier and more comfortable to use for long sessions than any of my other ones.
Blackhorse has apparently been manufacturing equestrian type products . . . such as horses saddles and bridles, halters and harnesses . . . and, I’m quite certain, riding crops and whips . . . LOL !!! . . . since the 1990s. So to diversify into Bondage and Discipline products seems like a marriage made in heaven to me. And the items I have been se nt are certainly heavenly in my mind.
All of the company’s products are handmade and, as I said earlier, the quality and workmanship is simply outstanding.
Now . . . you will probably want to know about the “impact” this particular instrument has made with my submissives when I have used it on them. Well, I always take things slowly and surely . . . building up the tempo of my swinging and swishing to the pace and intensity that I know each particular recipient likes. And no-one is the same. But they all say they like it . . . just as much as I do.
I do love the sound it makes as I swing it through the air . . . and the sound it makes as it strikes the target. And, of course, I love seeing the blushes turning to stripes which apparently can last for several days!
So . . . as you can probably tell . . . I do love this Flogger and I would recommend it, without hesitation, to anyone wishing to add another dimension to their impact play!!!
Now as I mentioned in my previous review, no documentation was supplied with the Flogger so I can’t give you any pricing details, nor specific information about materials. So for the purposes of accuracy my direct questions emailed to Blackhorses, and their emailed answers, were as below:
Q: Can you tell me more about the manufacturing process and materials please. Ie: “handmade”, but in just one factory or do you have more than one production facility? What sort of leather and how is it sourced? And also, my readers normally like to know that products are ethically produced (ie your workers are employed under proper conditions etc. etc.)???
A: We manufacture handmade products by using little help of machine. We using leather and iron hardware and other articles to produce our products. We have our one factory to mainly and some of articles provided by other sources. We are using best Indian buffalo leather for production. Our workers are skilled and experienced.
So, not the most comprehensive of answers, and the website details still seem as they were for my first review . . . but, what can I say other than, I am totally, totally in love with this Black Leather Flogger FL0022, and all of their other wonderful products hanging in my session wardrobe.
Modesty Rating: 10 out of 10
Pros: Wonderfully made. Strong, thick leather and solid and substantial real wooden handle.
Cons: None what-so-ever . . . apart from that lack of documentation / information.

Colour: Dark brown wooden handle and black leather strands.
Waterproof: No I would think not.
Cleaning: Obviously always wash thoroughly after use. I first wipe with my anti-bacterial cleansers then with warm soapy water and allow to dry, naturally, before next use.

It’s always nice to discover new people and new organisations entering the Fetish market-place, particularly so when the company concerned is female-focussed, female run and female staffed!!! So I was delighted to hear about Pink B.O.B. and the fledgling Kink-side of their business, Masterkink . . . after-all, we all have a kink-side don’t we? (Well I know I do !!!).
Pink B.O.B. is a small, but growing company based in New Hampshire in the USA (close-ish to the bottom of the state line with Massachusetts, so not too far from Boston). The B.O.B. part of the Pink name stands for Battery Operated Boyfriend which always makes me smile warmly when I repeat it to myself as I’m sure we’d all like our “boyfriends” to be battery-operated from time to time!
But Pink B.O.B. has so much more than just battery-operated toys in their growing product range and I really do recommend my American readers especially, to visit their website as I think all of their products are extremely reasonably priced.
Earlier this year I reviewed their “Flexi Plug Suction Cup Anal Toy” and am currently having their vibrating cock-ring “road-tested” for me by one of my trusted “colleagues” . . . but for the purpose of this post I am especially excited to focus on two items from their Master Kink range. Two separate items which can, of course, be used together if the mood should take you . . . as it often does for me!
Firstly the Master Kink Breathable Ball Gag . . .
Now, I do quite frequently come across this item hanging from the “utensils” rack at various dungeons I use for my mistress sessions. But I have always been reticent to “re-use” them with my own companion(s) at the time. Almost all of the “toys” I use, or play with, during my own sessions, are my own. Items I have collected myself for home playtime with my No.1 submissive . . . because playtime fun always starts at home!
So I was thrilled to receive the Master Kink Breathable Ball Gag in the post . . . though I did see an immediate look of apprehension in No.1’s eyes as I unpacked it and dangled it before him.
But I’m happy to report that he soon felt better when I passed it to him to look at, and feel, for himself. I think because the ball itself has 10 small breathing holes, and being made from an ABS Plastic type material, it is actually quite light and smooth. (Unlike some of the harder rubber and wooden balls we’d come across in our “travels”). The leatherette-type straps are quite light as well, and also reasonably flexible . . . so he felt that perhaps it wouldn’t be quite so restrictive after all . . . and soon succumbed to my command (see below!).
The ball itself is approximately 2 inches in diameter and slides along a short (4”), thin strap which slots through the ball itself. This strap is then attached via light D-ring connectors to the main strap. Made from a patent-leather type material, the buckle end is almost six inches long, whilst the strap-end (with 9 holes for the fixing) is just over double that length. That means the ball gag and strap has an adjustable fit of between 14” to 21”.
The strap is 1” wide and approximately 4mm thick and . . . according to No.1 . . . is quite comfortable once attached. Although, of course . . . I am the one to do the attaching . . . I did briefly try it on myself (for the purpose of this review only of course!) and he is right, I found it quite easy to breath and experienced no unpleasant taste or discomfort.
But, as I said, I am the one to do the attaching, and I have now done so on several occasions at home . . . and also quite recently with another of my subs, in-session.
Which brings me to the very necessary subject of cleaning! Because, although the Master Kink Breathable Ball-Gag is very nicely packaged in a quite strong and stylish shiny-gloss box, there is very little product information on the box itself . . . and nothing about the best method of cleaning (the ball particularly). I always clean all my toys with anti-bacterial wipes, and hot soapy water, both before and after use and, so far at least, that has had no discernible negative impact on the ball itself. But I would have liked a little more specific information on that aspect.
However, that aside, this Master Kink Breathable Ball Gag is proving to be a wonderful and fun addition to my kink-box. And, if you are just beginning to explore some kinky fun at home . . . or even if, like me, you are expanding your horizons in your journey through Kink . . . I think this is an ideal starting point.
As is . . . The Master Kink Bondage Rope.
If you have been visiting me here for some time, you will know how much I love rope play. Not actually doing the binding, or rigging itself, but . . . for the times when I switch roles and allow myself to be bound and played with.
This doesn’t happen very often of course . . . I have to be in the right sort of mood . . . and then only with my “very” good friend and rope expert Lover No.14.
But I just love the feel of rope being wound closely, and tightly, around my naked body. There is something so sensual and arousing about that total sense of submission to the will of someone you completely trust! As I say, it doesn’t happen very often, but when it does happen next, I will definitely be requesting this soft and sensual cotton rope to be the first thing wrapping around me.

Modesty Ablaze reviews The Blackhorses-of-India Flogger
I must admit to being a little skeptical when I was approached earlier this year by an Indian Fetish Product company asking if I would be interested in reviewing some of their items.
I get lots and lots of emails from all over the world offering lots of different things . . . if you know what I mean . . . so I am always cautious in my initial replies to such “enquiries”.
However, after exchanging a number of emails, and browsing the company website at Blackhorses.in, my interest was tweaked . . . and I duly agreed to test some of their products “in the flesh” so-to-speak. Well !!! . . . to say I was pleasantly surprised and astonished upon receiving my first delivery, would be a huge understatement.
Because the look, feel, quality and craftsmanship . . . of every item I received . . . is quite simply outstanding! Easily the most impressive, and most well-made assortment of whips and paddles, floggers and crops I have ever had the pleasure to handle.
Every implement just oozed quality from the very moment I unwrapped them. And, as if that first wonderful smell of new leather wasn’t intoxicating enough, the weight and substance of each item had me immediately swooning with delight and excitement as I lifted them up and swished them through the air, imagining I was slapping at the quivering cheeks of one of my willing submissives bent before me. I simply couldn’t wait to test them . . .
And, over the past few weeks I have, delightfully, been able to road-test them all . . . and, without exception, each has become my next new favourite . . . one after the other.
I hope over the coming weeks to feature a review of each of the different items I received, as to try and describe them all in one posting just wouldn’t do these wonderful products the justice they so completely deserve.
So let’s start with . . . The Flogger FL0021 . . . not because it is my favourite (they ALL are), but because I used it just last night and the wonderful fun memories of that session are still so fresh in my mind.
As I think you can probably tell from my photos here, this flogger is certainly very impressive . . . in every respect. The solid wooden handle is one and a half inches in diameter and 12 inches long, with a circumference of 4 inches, so is easy and comfortable to grip, and easy and comfortable to use. The 10, strong leather, strands are each 17 inches in length and are 8mm wide and 3mm thick, so very, very substantial. And that makes the full “swing” length of the flogger 29 inches from the base of the handle to the tips of those thick, brown, leather strands.
Unfortunately, no documentation regarding the materials, was supplied by Blackhorses (more on that later), so I can’t tell you the exact type of wood that the handle is made of, nor the type of leather in the strands. But what I can tell you is that the workmanship is by far the best of it’s kind that I have seen.
I’m not sure how the strands are actually secured into the handle itself (the lovely woven-effect of thinner black leather banding where the strands join the wood is for decorative purposes only I’m sure). But they seem strongly and permanently attached, and having put the flogger through some vigorous use during several sessions recently, they still look and feel brand new, just as when I first unwrapped them.
And despite feeling “heavier” in the palm of one’s hand than any of my other floggers, it is actually very comfortable to hold and very easy to use. In fact I would say that it’s heavier feel actually makes one much more relaxed and confident when using it . . . and I find myself enjoying it more and more with each swing and slap I make across my slaves back and bum. It does leave some lovely, lovely marks, usually for a couple of days apparently. And, to a man, they all seem to love it, describing it variously as “stinging”, “harsh” and “quite brutal” . . . but they all have come back asking for it again at their next session!!!
