I do so love receiving flowers. They always make one feel special and appreciated, wouldn’t you agree?

But as you can probably see flower arrangement is not the best of my skill-sets.

When we moved from London down to the South Coast, with all it’s lovely beaches, rolling fields and woods, one of our new friends asked “Have you done any riding?”.

I giggled and replied, “Yes quite regularly actually … but not since I retired”.

Hubby rolled his eyes at me across the coffee table, shaking his head. And then whispering across to me at the earliest, private, opportunity, “I don’t think your’s is the sort of ‘riding’ she had in mind”.
