Wine . . . my only vice !!! . . . Oh, well alright then, perhaps not my only vice!
But when I picked up a leaflet at our hotel advertising a Wine Tasting Tour at a nearby Winery, I just couldn’t resist !!!
As the tour guide led us into their Wine Cave I immediately began to feel chilled and relaxed . . . even before sipping from the first glass!
And, to be amongst such impressive wine barrells, was really quite intoxicating!
As our tour party continued along the barrell gallery, I was becoming more and more excited!
Until . . . at last . . . after so much description and explanation . . .
the first bottle was uncorked!
And . . . by the end of the tastings . . . I was feeling overwhelmed by so many different choices, and so was very happy to see that . . .
Hubby already had his hand deep in his pocket . . . reaching for his wallet,
of course . . . to purchase my choices!!!

I always struggle with the photo prompts at Sinful Sunday. And I’ve been angst-ing all week . . . well not all week actually . . . but you know . . . in-between appointments . . . when I had the time to pause and think!
I mean, for goodness sake . . . what do I know about Double Exposure ???
Then, reading Molly’s instructions over again . . . “exposing twice to capture two different shots, one on top of the other” . . . it suddenly struck me !!!
Last Saturday’s fun session with Mistress Luscious . . . when there really was lots of Double Exposure(s) . . . one on top of the other!
Lots and lots . . . one after the other . . . in fact, you could say there was an abundance of Multi Exposures . . . with quite a High Dynamic Range !!!
With frequent pauses of course . . . just to check that everything had . . . well you know . . . Developed successfully!!!

Scenic photography . . . or Hubby’s at least . . . never quite do a location justice.
But they can bring back lovely memories . . . and this photo certainly does that.
We had taken a photo of The Lake from our apartment balcony the day before, but I insisted we walk down to the road for a better view of a magical backdrop for our magical holiday.

It’s always nice returning to favourite places . . . places one feels comfortable in
. . . just unwinding and relaxing in beautiful surroundings!
And I always love to return to this cool and peaceful fernery . . . right in the centre of the wonderful Botanical Gardens I last visited in 2014.
The hustle and bustle of the city streets outside, seem a world away.
And I’m sure that other visitors strolling the paths behind me feel the same.
Well . . . perhaps not exactly the same . . . but I live in hope that some will!
But I do know that there will be more Exciting Expositions at this week’s
Sinful Sunday to be enjoyed from tapping the lips below!

The decor of our Christmas apartment was almost completely Bright White throughout . . . but although we found it quite “blinding” when we first
walked in . . . Hubby was quite taken by these venetians!
So much so, that he kept requesting I stop and stand in front of them
every time I walked in from the barbeque deck, or . . .
. . . suggested that it might be cooler inside at the bar!

Hubby simply doesn’t have a head for heights . . . but whenever I’m on holiday,
I feel almost obligated to visit the local attractions, so I insisted we take the
Cable Car to the top of the mountain.
And . . . to try take his mind off just how far above the lake we were,
I did my best to distract him on the journey!
Especially as the “clunks” were quite loud as we passed through
each pylon point!
Well, at least I felt quite exhilarated . . . and thrilled with the beautiful view!
And I’m sure there will be more beautiful views on display at Sinful Sunday today, from tapping the lips below!

“Yes I know it’s nice to spend Christmas in the sun for a change,” I called out to Hubby. “But that doesn’t mean you can lay out in the garden all day!”
“This barbeque won’t light itself you know. Get up here on the deck and do something constructive for once on this holiday!”
“I know it’s not a Christmas hat, but I needed to put something on for protection from the sun. It’s very hot out here you know.”
“No I haven’t got pigs-in-blankets . . . lamb’s what they have for Christmas dinner out here. I thought you, of all people, would have known that!!!”
“No it won’t be over-done” I hissed at his questioning. “The only things that are going to get burnt are your pathetic ‘baubles’ if you don’t put that bloody camera down and lend a helping hand!”
It seems no matter what the hemisphere, Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas, without an argument or two over dinner.
Anyway I’m sure there will be less arguments and more celebrations to be discovered at this week’s Sinful Sunday from smacking the lips below!

I was always the quiet one at school. Shy and well-behaved, of course!
So a return to the classroom recently seemed like a perfect opportunity to
. . . finally . . . have some FUN !!!
“Now ladies . . . today we are going to learn about poise and grace.”
“And how to conduct oneself with elegance and . . . charm.”
“Whilst slapping those little balls back and forth on our abacuses!”
“And what do we all think is the most important equation in life? . . .
‘Two wrongs don’t make a right’ . . . or ‘Never say never’ ???
Well, I certainly did enjoy my time in front of the blackboard . . . and it’s nice to see that more people are going in to reminisce, and perhaps brush-up on their ‘righting and rithmetic’ as well.
