I discovered Sinful Sunday shortly after setting my alter-ego ablaze, for the first time on-line, early in 2012. But, of course, I was far too shy to join-in back then … until my first Sinful posting in February 2013. But I quickly became addicted and haven’t missed very many Sundays since.
Because it’s been such a lovely stepping-stone for me to discover and explore so many wonderfully exciting and powerful images … and so many wonderful and inspirational people.
So huge kisses and congratulations Molly … to have reached 500 weeks of Sinful Sunday and to have touched and inspired so many people over all those years … is an amazing achievement.
And it is something for which Molly should be rightfully proud … and we should all be gratefully thankful.
So let’s celebrate, and pray (and play) for 500 Hundred MORE, by kissing the lips below.
“I hope you’re listening out for when the waiter returns” Hubby said as I poured another glass of still water and shifted in my chair, searching for even the slightest of cooling draughts from the street.
“I’m relying on you for that” I replied. “After all, you’re the one whose sitting closest to the kitchen.” “And anyway, I shall just charm him and tell him his omelette was just as lovely as the one I had here last year!” I giggled.
“And … I shall ask him if he still does that lovely “Fruity Delight” for afters … you know how much I love my afters!!!
To see what other fruity delights are being served this Sinful Sunday, just lick the lips below.
I do feel at home in a good Vault … though sadly this one was devoid of wine-racks … but there is just something refreshing about the aire isn’t there?
That feeling of freedom and release … expressing one’s inner rebel … I wonder if you might note the connection !!!
For more enlightenment and fresh-aire, take a sip from this week’s Sinful Sunday lips below.
Long before I was able to fly, summer-time meant exciting days-out to the seaside, and ice-creams on the Pier.
Sitting at the end of the boardwalk and gazing out to sea, dreaming of distant exotic lands … and beaches … far beyond.
Sadly, on my recent seaside staycation, the ice-cream parlour was locked-down and the coffee bar closed.
But it was still lovely to sit and listen to the water lapping below, the sounds of the keep-fit classes behind me, and the fishermen casting their lines over the end of the pier, in front of me.
Because there is something quite enchanting, and comforting, about a pier beside the seaside isn’t there?
For lots of other enchanting memories, just “tap” the lips below at this week’s Sinful Sunday.
P.S. – I do already have several other a-pier-ances, here and here for my Naughty Scavenger Hunt pages, so I thought I would add this particular Pier to my Exposé Vŭ memories.
“Well, it doesn’t look like a Weather Vane to me,” I said to Hubby as we paused during our walk along the promenade. “It looks more like a Victorian Bus Stop!”
“The Weather Vane bit is on the top” Hubby replied. “It’s actually a Weather Kiosk and has been here since the 1930’s.” “It’s staffed by weather volunteers” he went on. “And they record the wind, temperature and tides every day”.
“What !!!” I exclaimed. “You mean you’ve let me stand here like this whilst there’s actually someone sat inside!!!” “And look, there’s a bus pulling in now anyway!!!” I hissed as I quickly stepped away in case the driver thought we were getting on.
“I suppose we’d better look like we’re interested in all this information” I told him as the bus pulled away and I had calmed down a bit.
Thankfully, the volunteers must have left for the day as nobody came out to start explaining all the charts and numbers in person.
But for more forecasts and reports this Sinful Sunday, dial-in from the lips below.
I’m not sure if there is a Weather Vane, or Weather Kiosk,Scavenger Hunt location just yet, but I’m rather hoping my meteorological investigations won’t be in vain.
A few months ago it seemed that, for the first time in eight years, I woudn’t be climbing my favourite Grecian stairs this summer.
And even when Hubby suddenly exclaimed “they’re open … I’ve booked … pack your flip-flops … we’re going!” I was a little unsure.
But I’m so glad we went. They were so, so happy to welcome us back and … as you can probably tell … I was so, so happy to be back.
And it was simply the loveliest, most wonderful, best time ever !!!
For lots of other wonderful and fun times just “tap” the lips below at this week’s Sinful Sunday.
P.S. – It’s become a tradition for me to climb these stairs to my favourite restaurant here for the past eight years, and I hope to be able to keep adding each visit to my Exposé Vŭ pages for many years to come.
