Modestly In The Fields #sinfulsunday

Modesty Ablaze Lavender 1It’s nice to get out into the country sometimes . . . even though on this occasion, there were far more people than I’d expected.  Obviously all intent, like me, to enjoy a day out picking some of the lovely flowers.

Modesty Ablaze Lavender 2“What do you mean you didn’t buy a bag to put them in!” I said to Hubby.
“Obviously I’ve got nowhere to put them have I ???”

Modesty Ablaze Lavender Fields 3“No I don’t always have my handbag with me!” I hissed quietly at him, anxious not to cause a scene in front of the other pickers around us.

Modesty Ablaze Lavender Fields 4“You’ll have to go back to the gate and buy one” I told him as I found a convenient chair between the rows to sit down on.

Modesty Ablaze Lavender Fields 5“And you can jolly well buy some suntan lotion at the gift shop as well . . .
I’ll probably need it by the time you get back!”

He did return . . . and we did actually manage to bring back some
Lovely Lavender which I’ve put to good use >here< !!!

P.S. – I shall probably have more from our flower picking excursion shortly,

“No, I thought we were just having souvlaki and wine.” he replied.

Modest Thoughts #F4TFriday

Modesty Ablaze Food For Thought Friday

I haven’t participated in “Food for Thought Friday” before . . . and as you can tell, I am almost a week late in joining in on this occasion. But a regular reader suggested that I definitely should partake in this Friday’s theme, because it asks several questions that she apparently has always been curious about when visiting my “modest” pages here.

So Food For Thought Friday asks:
A number of us in this community take part in the #SinfulSunday or FebPhotoFest memes run by Molly Moore, while others share photos via Boobday by Hyacinth Jones.
1) If you take risqué photographs, what is it that you enjoy most? The creativity, the composition, the feedback you get from those who see them?
2) If you participate in any of the memes above, what made you decide to take part? How did you feel the first time you linked a post for others to see?
3) How comfortable are you sharing semi-nude/nude/sexually explicit photos of yourself, either online or via a “sext”?

Well as I do, quite regularly, join in with SinfulSunday and BoobdayFriday, I would answer:
It was Sinful Sunday that first motivated me to begin including more “risqué” photos on my blog. I found the different array of images each week interesting and inspiring, and whilst I knew that the artfulness and creativity of many of the images were beyond my abilities, it was the fun aspect that appealed to me. I’ve always wanted to have . . . and share . . . fun in everything I do, and if I don’t feel that fun or enjoyment in something, then I know it isn’t for me.

As I began (slowly and “modestly” at first) submitting images to Sinful Sunday I eventually became aware of other memes such as Scavenger Hunt and Boobday Friday that appealed to me not only for the obvious enjoyment of the images I was discovering there, but also because of the pride and positivity of those taking part. Being proud of one’s sexuality, positive about our bodies and so strongly expressing the right of each of us to be able to follow our natural desires and worth as a person, just struck a chord with me.

Yes I did feel nervous, and apprehensive, after those first posts . . . in fact I still often do. But then I remind myself that there is nothing to be ashamed of. It’s natural . . . it’s fun !!!

Of course I do admit, particularly with my Scavenger Hunt posts, that I enjoy the thrill of the “outdoors-nature” of the poses. It brings out the exhibitionist streak within!

But most of all, as I say in the “Rider / Warning panel” at the top of my pages, I hope my posts will go some way to promote Body Positive and Sex Positive issues and to bring smiles and giggles to those that come across them.

Modestly Bronzed #Boobday Friday

Bold as . . . well bronze actually. Bold because we all know breasts are a beautiful art-form don’t we! Whatever shape or size, breasts have been celebrated for centuries in art forms of all kind . . . and rightly so!!!

So I just couldn’t resist in joining-in with this wonderfully impressive celebration on my recent stroll along the river. Especially as it seemed so appropriate here

A Modest ap-Pier-ance #sinfulsunday

“Would you prefer the Amusement Park, or a stroll on the Pier?” Hubby asked.
“Well, after those Doughnuts we’ve just had, I suppose it has to be a stroll out along the Pier!” I replied.

“Oh goodness, it is rather a long way out!” I said as we stepped out onto the walkway. “I’m not going to be able to match his pace!” I gasped as the gentleman who’d been behind us at the ticket booth, strode quickly past.

“Well we could catch the train out there” Hubby said. “Apparently it runs back and forth every 15 minutes”.

“No, we’re over halfway there now” I pointed, “so let’s just carry on!”

“The guide-book says it is the longest Pier in the world” Hubby said as I rested
by the mile-marker.

“Look, we are almost there now. I hope they serve more than just tea and coffee there though!”

“I do think it’s a bit windy for beach huts way out here on the Pier!”
“Yes, perhaps that’s the reason they’ve closed early for the day.” Hubby replied.

And, rather disappointingly after our long stroll, it was only tea and coffee on sale at the bar. So we decided to catch the Train back to the beach . . . to seek out a nice Wine Bar we’d spotted earlier.

But I’m sure there will be lots of appearances of a different kind, to be viewed by tapping the Sinful Sunday button below!

Modestly continued #wickedwednesday

I often receive emails mentioning that I haven’t posted a new “Scavenger Hunt” for a while! And sometimes those messages suggest locations. . . or events . . . the Wedding on Saturday??? LOL!!! . . . I’d love to, but !!!!

So no, I haven’t stopped my Scavengering . . . and I am still continuing to
find new, beautiful locations. It’s just that sometimes they belong to a category which I have already added to my Scavenger listings.
Such as the lovely public gardens above.

Which is why . . . being rather greedy I suppose . . . but not wanting to waste lovely new locations or situations, I started an Exposé Vŭ page for occasional new, and fun, Scavenger revisited postings!!!

Modest Self-Service #sinfulsunday

“I hate these self-service machines” I said to Hubby. “I’m always nervous
whenever I have to use them in the copy-shop.”

“I’m never sure which way to put the paper down at first!”

“I have pushed the button!” I said to him. “But nothing is coming out.”

“No, I don’t want to ask the man at the back of the shop!” I snapped at him.
“I would feel silly having to ask for assistance.”

“Try the auto-feeder on the top” Hubby whispered nervously.
“Before somebody else comes in to the shop and joins the queue.”

“Yes, it’s working now!” I giggled triumphantly. “Now you go and pay, I think the number of copies comes up automatically on his screen.”

Thankfully I managed to get all my copies made without any complaints or further delay . . . and I’m sure there will be lots of other interesting copies to view from pushing the Sinful Sunday button below!

A Modest Break #sinfulsunday

I must admit it has been wonderful to escape London’s cold and snow for a short break, and feel some warming sun on one’s back . . . and other bits!!!
Even if it did mean unfortunately having to miss last weekend’s Eroticon.

But, of course, I didn’t want to miss this week’s Sinful Sunday as well . . .
so I’m hoping this will find it’s way through the ether and arrive in time.

A Modest Snowfield #sinfulsunday

I’m not normally one for the cold and damp of winter . . . but I’ve always enjoyed fun and games!

So the recent Olympics did make me wonder if perhaps I should begin training for the next one . . .

Though, is winter diving a category I wondered? (Don’t get too silly with your answers now!!!)

This looks more like a category I could manage . . . wielding and swinging something heavy in one’s hand?

I’m sure I could whip-up a challenge in that sort of discipline!

So . . . whilst I will try to keep you up-to-speed on my regime over the coming four years . . . some more immediate, and slightly warmer I’m sure, regimes
