Modesty Ablaze Swimming Pool 1

“Oh it feels lovely to get rid of that T-shirt . . . it was making me feel all sticky and clammy!” I said as I slipped back into the pool.

“But you can’t go naked, it’s a public pool” Hubby exclaimed. “Someone may come out from the other apartments at any moment!”

“Oh don’t be silly” I told him. “They’ve all gone in for their afternoon tea.
Let me do just a couple of lengths at least.”

“Well just be quick!” he said. “You could get us thrown out if anyone comes. Then we’d end up sleeping on the beach for the next few nights!”

“Well would that be such a bad thing?” I asked him. “I could be swimming like this all the time then!”

Nobody came . . .  but I reluctantly put my top back on, because you know
I would never wish to upset or cause offence.

But you may possibly find more people having fun, with their tops off . . .

Modestly Scentsible #wickedwednesday

Modesty Ablaze Sunflower ScavengerAs you can probably imagine, I always try to be sensible whenever I am out and about. You know I’m not one normally to take unnecessary risks!

But I must say I was a little nervous whilst navigating my way through rows and rows of these Sunflowers during my Lavender gathering in August.

Nervous because there were so many bees buzzing about, that I just had to keep flapping my sarong to try to keep them at bay!!!

Anyway, though Sunflowers don’t have the strongest of smells, I’m sure you’ll find more “scents” to enjoy at this week’s Wicked Wednesday.

Modestly Mopping-up #sinfulsunday

“What an earth are you doing?” Hubby whispered from our doorway, after we’d been drenched in a sudden downpour on our way back to the apartment.

“We both nearly fell arse-over-tit as we ran up the stairs didn’t we?
So I thought I’d quickly mop-up in case any of the other guests have the same problem!” I replied as I quickly scrubbed back and forth.

“You’re far more likely to cause an accident if they see you dressed like that on the landing!” he hissed. “Get back inside before you offend someone!”

Well you know me, I’d never wish to cause shock or offence, so I reluctantly finished and put the mop back in the corner. I did think though about suggesting the owners erect a sign similar to the one on the stairs of the apartments we’d stayed at in 2013 !!!

I suspect there will be more sinful adventures to be discovered this weekend by wiping over the Sinful Sunday lips below!Sinful Sunday

Modest Prickles #Boobday Friday

Modesty Ablaze Cactus BoobsAs I mentioned in my “Prickly Heat” post last weekend, these impressive Cacti were near the front entrance of our favourite Taverna. So I had to be really quick to slip-off my dress and, carefully, manoeuvre myself between those prickles.

So a bit nerve-wracking on two fronts . . . but it was quite a thrill . . .
which I thought would be fun to share at this week’s Boobday Friday.

Modest Prickly Heat #sinfulsunday

Modesty Ablaze Succulent CactusThese impressive Cactus plants . . . at the entrance to one of our favourite Tavernas on our holiday island . . . have always caught my eye!

They run from just inside the gateway from the main road, right up to the outside dining area overlooking the beach below . . . and they really are
quite “prickly”.

And I’m sure there will be more prickly-heat at this weeks Sinful Sunday.

Hubby read cheerfully from his phone.

“Mmm, just my sort of succulent” I giggled “but you can jolly well put that phone down, and top-up the rest of my glass . . . it helps me . . . swallow!!!”

I’m not sure if “Cacti” is a Scavenger Hunt category . . . but we had lots of fun reminiscing about “succulents”.

Perhaps Someday #wickedwednesday

Whilst on our summer holiday last year, Hubby and I had considered putting in an offer to buy our dream Holiday Home Abroad! But once we returned home to London, the reality of the practicalities involved overcame us . . .

But on our return visit this summer, we just had to drive down that same road
to see if the property was still available . . .

Only to find that the “For Sale” sign had now changed to “For Rent”. Which started us wondering if perhaps we should call to make further enquiries . . . especially as the contact details began with my favourite number!!!

But once again on returning home, normal everyday life has just got in the way. Maybe someday . . . !!!

A Modest Lifestyle #wickedwednesday

Modesty Ablaze Smells the flowersI’ve been incredibly lucky to have met some wonderful people, and enjoyed some amazing and wonderfully fun interactions, over the past 30-or-so years of my “Modesty Ablaze adventures”.

Some people I have met time and time again, some less frequently . . . some have become life-long friends, some just one-off acquaintances.

But whether I’ve met those people through my swinging, blogging, fetish,
or femdom experiences, there has always been one common thread, one common bond.

And that has been that we are all respectful and accepting, of each others lifestyle choices . . . no matter, how different we may be, no matter whether or not our “interests” overlap or merge. (Some of our swinging-friends are horrified at the thought of fetish-play, whilst many of our fetish friends are strictly, and happily, monogamous and will always remain so).

And I often think that that sort of acceptance is what is so sadly lacking in a lot of so-called “normal” or “mainstream” lifestyles.

People always seem so quick to judge others who do not conform with their own views or culture, or the way they live their own lives . . . too quick to label those lifestyles as strange, perverted, or just plainly “wrong”.

I am wonderfully happy . . . in fact empowered . . . by the choices I have made, the fun times I have enjoyed, and the love and affection I have experienced and have shared. Because, of course, sharing is caring!

Modestly In The Fields #sinfulsunday

Modesty Ablaze Lavender 1It’s nice to get out into the country sometimes . . . even though on this occasion, there were far more people than I’d expected.  Obviously all intent, like me, to enjoy a day out picking some of the lovely flowers.

Modesty Ablaze Lavender 2“What do you mean you didn’t buy a bag to put them in!” I said to Hubby.
“Obviously I’ve got nowhere to put them have I ???”

Modesty Ablaze Lavender Fields 3“No I don’t always have my handbag with me!” I hissed quietly at him, anxious not to cause a scene in front of the other pickers around us.

Modesty Ablaze Lavender Fields 4“You’ll have to go back to the gate and buy one” I told him as I found a convenient chair between the rows to sit down on.

Modesty Ablaze Lavender Fields 5“And you can jolly well buy some suntan lotion at the gift shop as well . . .
I’ll probably need it by the time you get back!”

He did return . . . and we did actually manage to bring back some
Lovely Lavender which I’ve put to good use >here< !!!

A Modest Sea View #KOTW

Modesty Ablaze Sea VistaThough I’ve been a regular reader, I’ve never indulged in . . .
Kink of the Week before.

But as this week’s theme is Sea / Ocean how could I possibly resist!
Because I just LOVE the sea !!!

The lovely, constant, rhythm of the waves washing onto the shore.
The sun sparkling across the water. The fresh feel and smell of the ocean . . . and that sense of infinity as one gazes out to sea.

Kink has always meant “special fun” to me . . . and, over the past six summers, this particular stretch of ocean, has become a special, and fun, place I long to return to year after year!!!
