A Modest Tasting #sinfulsunday

Wine . . . my only vice !!! . . . Oh, well alright then, perhaps not my only vice!
But when I picked up a leaflet at our hotel advertising a Wine Tasting Tour at a nearby Winery, I just couldn’t resist !!!

As the tour guide led us into their Wine Cave I immediately began to feel chilled and relaxed . . . even before sipping from the first glass!

And, to be amongst such impressive wine barrells, was really quite intoxicating!

As our tour party continued along the barrell gallery, I was becoming more and more excited!

Until . . . at last . . . after so much description and explanation . . .
the first bottle was uncorked!

And . . . by the end of the tastings . . . I was feeling overwhelmed by so many different choices, and so was very happy to see that . . .

Hubby already had his hand deep in his pocket . . . reaching for his wallet,
of course . . . to purchase my choices!!!

Modest Fear #wickedwednesday

Modesty Ablaze Fears at Scavenger Hunt

I am often asked if I have ever been “caught” during one of my regular
Scavenger Hunt excursions.

Well . . . I am sure that I have been noticed from a distance, and have certainly had people glance interestingly as they’ve passed by . . . but I’ve never actually been “confronted” by anyone during one of our photo-opportunity stops.

But I will admit that it is that “fear”, of being seen that gives me that extra special thrill of the moment and fulfills the exhibitionist streak within!

Favourite Statue #wickedwednesday

Modesty Ablaze Botanical Gardens Statue 2019

I had hoped on our return to The Botanical Gardens this year, that we could take some photos in front of, and inside, the Greenhouse as we had done in 2014. But there was a huge wedding party taking endless group poses, which would have been most inappropriate for me to join in with.

So I had to make do with just one photo with my favourite Statue at the
garden entrance . . . before we moved on to the lovely Fernery.

The Lake #sinfulsunday

Scenic photography . . . or Hubby’s at least . . . never quite do a location justice.

We had taken a photo of The Lake from our apartment balcony the day before, but I insisted we walk down to the road for a better view of a magical backdrop for our magical holiday.

Fernery Revisited #sinfulsunday

It’s always nice returning to favourite places . . . places one feels comfortable in
. . . just unwinding and relaxing in beautiful surroundings!

And I always love to return to this cool and peaceful fernery . . . right in the centre of the wonderful Botanical Gardens I last visited in 2014.

Modestly Bared #Boobday Friday

My Boobday Friday post several weeks ago certainly generated lots of email requests for a more naked view . . . and those emails have continued to pour in!

So to fulfill those requests, I leant towards the camera . . . with barely a moment to spare . . . before leaving for the office this morning!!!

A Modest Cable Car #sinfulsunday

Hubby simply doesn’t have a head for heights . . . but whenever I’m on holiday,
I feel almost obligated to visit the local attractions, so I insisted we take the
Cable Car to the top of the mountain.

And . . . to try take his mind off just how far above the lake we were,
I did my best to distract him on the journey!

Modesty Ablaze Exploring

One of the lovely things about being part of this community is the comfort and empowerment one feels from viewing and reading so many sex-positive, and body-positive posts each day from so many fun and creative people.

People from all over the world with a wonderfully diverse mix of interests and ideas about sex and sensuality, fashion and lifestyle, writing and erotica, all sharing their thoughts and experiences through their websites and blogs.

And over the past eight years of my journey here as Modesty Ablaze, I know that my own explorations and experiences have been made all the more complete and enjoyable from knowing that I am not alone in my “kinks” and “desires”.

Knowing that others share similar experiences, means feeling even better about one’s own lifestyle choices . . . and more determined with every passing year, to promote fun and sexuality and being relaxed in mind and body.

And I hope that by sharing my own posts and photos . . . and thoughts and videos . . . that others may feel that same comfort and empowerment that I have.

After all, exploration is all about discovery and enlightenment isn’t it?
