I’ve always believed in guardian angels. Not as celestial beings, but as important elements in our lives – sometimes they are friends, family, hobbies, skills we have, or even our imaginations. My guardian angel is definitely my imagination – but I suspect it needs its halo’s polishing up a bit!

Sometimes I refer to my imagination as Miss Dubious Enterprises. Steering me along my erotic path, she takes me by the hand and points me in the direction of every possible source of inspiration.

She prods me as I sit on the bus, and gestures to the couple chatting on the seat opposite, urging me to observe their body language and reproduce their moves on paper at a later date. She reminds me to listen as I stand in shop queues, just in case someone says something I can use to kick start my imagination, once I’m happily settled with my notebook and pen.

Ever since I began my foray into the world of erotica nine years ago, I have seen and heard so many things – so many ordinary things – that my naughty little goddess has twisted and turned, a flirty smile upon her face. Each word she utters has been moulded into stories and poems that are designed to – let’s be honest – make the reader feel rather more than hot and bothered!

Quick KinkI wrote A Delivery of Words for my anthology Quick Kink One after my goddess had pointed out a rather attractive bloke unloading a pile of dictionaries from his lorry, outside the local bookshop. It wasn’t long before my imagination had moved both the man, along with one of the dictionaries, to my home, and started to play with them …

The Per Sub- new ropeThe first part of my trilogy, The Perfect Submissive, came to me after I’d seen a very unusual picture of a hammock… ‘What…’ my imagination angel whispered to me, ‘…could we do with a huge net of rope like that?’ – I just had to work it out and write the story …

The only trouble with my Imagination Angel – and I’d hate you to think I wasn’t grateful to her – is she never leaves me- never. No situation is too mundane to be used within my work. As I buy shoes, she whispers to me that the heels could be used as a dildo, (Bad Behaviour in The Collector). As I walk in the park, she remarks on how much fun it might be to wank on a park bench (A Leading Conversation in Quick Kink One). She points out a passing delivery man, and tells me that I could get him in the back of his van, I could write off all his clothes, I could write the arms of his shirt tying his hands together … (Now that is a story I have to write!!)

The_Collector_2012More recently, she eavesdropped on a conversation I was having with a friend about how to write Part 2 of The Perfect Submissive, and leapt upon the word ‘retreat’, just as my eyes fell upon an over-iced cupcake …(I’m saying no more!!!) – before I knew it, the whole of The Retreat was mapped out in my head … You see – I can’t go anywhere without Miss Dubious Enterprise sharing her naughty thoughts with me!

Rest assured though, she knows the rules, this angel of mine, and has never strayed to the criminal, vile or horrific. Yet she never calms, never slows, and never stops – and every now and again – without wanting to be ungrateful my dear Goddess, I’d like to switch her off!

But not today…

Just to set the scene . . . and to get the Kissing Started, here is a little excerpt from “Arrivals & Departures”:

Arrivals400James was as excited as I was and stood by the door as I showered, trying to make his suggestions over the sound of the water, about what I should wear.

I let him dry me with the towel when I got out, asking him to reassure me that it really was alright, and loving his excited kisses and touches . . . and feeling his obvious excitement as well.

I was rushing through my make-up, asking James to book a cab as it would take 45 minutes to get there. He kissed my shoulders and said he’d drive me there himself. I felt myself blushing with excitement as I looked up at him and then I stood up and turned to kiss him . . . we stood embracing for several minutes, telling each other how much we loved each other and loved our life. It’s still, after all these years, wonderful to be able to say these things to each other . . . tingling sexual moments, and yet not just about the sexual tinglings.

I felt warm and wet, and just so happy and naughty and excited and . . . just so free . . . all rolled together. We kept kissing, me telling him how lucky I was, him telling me how lucky he was . . . it really was a special, special moment. One that I know I will remember long after I have forgotten so many of the other things we have experienced in all our years together.

I chose my white silk stockings, suspenders and bra set (I decided I didn’t need the knickers) and silver earrings and necklace that James had brought me earlier in the year, grey shoes and my grey wool coat. I folded the matching woollen dress into my bag . . . “for the journey home” I told him.

He told me I looked “incredible” and asked if I would unbutton the coat as we drove. I turned the heater up in the car as it was freezing as we set-off, but told him I would only unbutton it, and not slide it off my shoulders as he wanted me to, as we were driving through the city in broad daylight. I had to playfully keep pushing his hands away at each traffic light at first, and tell him to behave himself and concentrate on his driving.

We kissed again for several minutes in the car once we’d arrived, and as I stepped out into the cold and turned to wave goodbye through the windscreen, I felt just so wonderfully naughty . . . my husband had just dropped me off, in broad daylight, on a Sunday afternoon, at my young lovers door. I was tingling as I stepped across the cobblestones, simply tingling!!!

I’m finally, **finally** nearing the point of completing the next Ebook edition of my “Modesty Ablaze Diaries” . . . **well I have been quite busy! (LOL!!!)

If you’ve visited me here before you may remember that in June I posted a request for suggested titles for this latest book. Well I did receive, lots and lots of nice suggestions then, but as it’s taken me so much longer to compile than I thought, I’ve decided to keep the “suggestion box” open for another two weeks.

So, if you would like to make a suggestion for the title of “The Modesty Ablaze Diaries – Part 6”, please complete the form below, and YES for those who have already asked, you are more than welcome to submit more than one title. AND, of course, I will email a FREE copy to the person who suggests the title I finally choose.

Name my new book – Part 6 of The Modesty Ablaze Diaries

I’m presently compiling the final chapters of the next Ebook edition of my “Modesty Ablaze Diaries” . . . but I thought it would be nice if one of you could suggest the title.

It will be Part 6 of the Ebooks I have published so far . . . five now available at Gumroad (at special introductory prices) and three each available at Amazon and Smashwords.

I do have a cover almost ready (see below) which will be for the Gumroad editions, but probably not suitable for Amazon (LOL!!) But I am having trouble thinking of an appropriate title, so I thought it would be nice if someone could suggest one for me. It’s always a thrill to know people enjoy my diary excerpts enough to actually download them . . . but even more so when I know that Ether Books is such a new concept.

I love it actually (reading naughty things on my phone I mean!!!). There is something quite exciting about sitting on the bus on my way to work scrolling through a naughty story whilst everyone else is probably scrolling through their text messages!!

Often I’ll wonder if the grumpy, elderly, gentleman sitting next to me is scowling just because I’m playing with my phone on the bus . . . OR whether it’s because he’s been taking sly glances at the naughty words as I become totally engrossed in a story and forget to tilt the phone away to a more “private” angle!!

An extract from “My Cougar Moment” . . .
Normally when Hubby and I have a night out at our Swingers Club we will spend the first hour or so sitting at the Bar chatting to staff or to other couples, or singles, that we have met previously.

The atmosphere is always very friendly and relaxed and it is really just very nice to unwind in a different, and far more exciting environment, than we would on a normal evening out with normal friends.

And, of course, I love being able to wear something sexy and naughty. And Hubby enjoys me dressing like that and watching me take an occasional stroll away from the bar to investigate what may be happening in the play areas, or viewing rooms . . . and then walking slowly back . . . “strutting my stuff” as he calls it.

There have been occasions when we’ve not met or played with anyone at all during the evening. Or perhaps we may have just chatted and exchanged numbers with a couple, or interesting single guy . . . but for one reason or another, we’d not indulged with further.

But on one of our recent visits, I did something I’d never, ever done before . . . and it turned into one of the most exciting evenings we’ve ever enjoyed there.

We’d arrived early and had been sitting at the bar on our own sipping our drinks chatting to one of the lovely barmaids. A simply gorgeous young man entered from reception and came up to the bar to order a drink. He wasn’t close enough for us to hear him ordering his drink, but our eyes met briefly as he glanced around the bar whilst he waited for his glass. As he walked off towards the main room I saw him glance briefly back in our direction, before he disappeared around the corner. Our barmaid came back to roll her eyes and tell me “Wow. He’s hot!” I nodded my agreement and asked her where she thought he was from and if she’d seen him here before. She told me he was definitely a newbie . . . and possibly Spanish or Italian.

A few minutes later he returned to the main room and was standing by the wall on the opposite side of the bar to us. “God he is gorgeous isn’t he” I giggled to our barmaid. Hubby put his arm around my shoulder to pull me closer and whispered into my ear “why don’t you go and introduce yourself and offer to show him around.” I giggled with nervous excitement at his suggestion and replied, “I can’t, I wouldn’t know what to say.”

Usually, couples or singles would approach us first and we’d chat (sometimes for quite awhile) before I would nod to Hubby that I was “interested.” And then it would be him that might make the suggestion to our new friends . . . if they hadn’t asked us first.

But now not only was Hubby suggesting that I make the first move, he was suggesting that I do it on my own.

My heart was racing and I felt my excitement levels rising by the second. “Go on, you’ve got nothing to lose. Talk to him before someone else gets in first,” Hubby was urging in my ear.

I got down off my stool and started to walk slowly over towards him. I felt like I was shaking so much with nerves that it must look as though I was about to fall off my high-heels. He wasn’t even looking in my direction as I stopped beside him and managed to stammer out something like “Hi, are you new here?” (Yes, really original, I know!)

“Yes it is my first time in London,” he replied in a wonderful deep and rich accent. I can’t remember anything of exactly what I said next. Just that conversation seemed to flow quite easily and naturally for the next few minutes . . . and that he was becoming ever more gorgeous with every word!

Just as I found myself struggling to think of what to say next, he asked if I was alone. “Oh, no. I’m with my husband. Please come and meet him,” I managed to reply with a huge sense of relief. And excitement!

I took him by his hand, not sure if I was trying to steady myself and keep my balance to counteract my excitement . . . or to parade him to the other ladies in the room! “This is J. He’s from Spain,” I gushed to Hubby. They shook hands and Hubby asked me “Shall we see if the Private Room is free?” “Oh yes . . . LETS,” I nodded excitedly.

Of over a dozen titles published over the course of just a few months, his “Crossing New Horizons” title caught my immediate interest and curiosity . . . and Wow !!! The naughtiness starts from the very first page!!

I don’t want to spoil the quickly developing plot and scenarios . . . but suffice to say that every page had me gasping more quickly,  and breathing more heavily than the last . . . and wishing that my own stamina could match (even for just one chapter) that of Liz and her new friend Rachel.
