I do like shadows … and know that I have used them in Boobday Friday pictures before … but I just can’t help myself. I think it’s possibly to do with making things seem a little more natural somehow.

And it’s always nicer when things are more natural don’t you think?

After quickly unpacking upon our arrival, and even before heading off to our beach, I told Hubby I needed my first glass of rosé served to me by the pool. 

It was so lovely feeling that warm sun on my back again … but I hadn’t realised how much of an impression the rope sun-lounger had made on my virginal skin, until I stood up to turn over.

But Hubby quickly volunteered to rub the marks away for me!!!

From the hottest July day of our English sea-side summer break … and obviously before the return to our Grecian island became a reality.

I’d been out for a stroll along the seafront and not realised the strength of the sun. So on our return to our room I was in urgent need of some cooling down.

And although it wasn’t the normal sort of Fan I could add to my collection, I was so glad of it’s whirring breeze!
