It’s been a long, long time since I last posted a Product Review here on my blog pages, especially of Vibrators and Dildos. I’d actually decided that I’d probably found my ideal, preferred and most regular “go-to” favourite toy for whenever I needed a special “me-time” indulgence session. So searching for another option wasn’t a high priority!
But late last year I received an email request from a … new-to-me anyway … company whom I’d not heard of before, with the rather unusual name of “Tracy’s Dog”.
“Unusual, and not a particularly, enticing name for a Sex Toy Company” I thought to myself.
But nevertheless, I was intrigued. So I duly followed the slightly Art-Deco looking logo and link, and began to browse … and read further as I scrolled through the easy to navigate, and quite visually interesting website.
And as I’ve often found in the past that a new Lover can add a little difference and spice to one’s life, why not try a new “me-time” toy too?
So … I subsequently replied to the email and several weeks later received their Double-E Vibrator G Spot toy in my post box.
Opening the discrete outer packaging, revealed an attractively designed sturdy matt-black cardboard box with a slide-off smooth pink sleeve, (pictured above).
And, as also pictured, lifting off the lid revealed the stylish looking vibrator itself, resting snugly in a black foam bed, along with the USB charging cable, a small folding leaflet/manual, and a nice fabric holding bag.
As I mentioned, the product leaflet is small, very small. And in fact, as my eye-sight is not what it used to be, even reaching for my reading glasses, still made the instructions and small illustrative pictures frustratingly difficult to investigate with any enthusiasm.
However, the vibrator itself felt wonderfully inviting to lift and stroke over the palms of my hand. The silicon body is beautifully silky smooth to the touch and is remarkably light and comfortable to handle.
It has a firm, and penis-shaped main shaft, with a lovely head-shaped tip. The two control buttons, slightly inset in a chrome shield shaped cover, are at the bottom curve of the vibrator where the bendy flexible curving stem continues round to the secondary, smaller flanged tip collared in a narrow chrome band around it’s circumference. And that bendable curve had me quite excited about it’s positional capability and possibilities.
Charging with the magnetic-connecting cable was surprisingly quick for a first charge (about an hour), and my first explorations … and trusted “tip-of-the-nose” test … as I worked through the button settings, were quite encouraging. So I was looking forward to making some appropriate “me-time” to relax and put the Double-E to the test.
That appropriate time didn’t come until some days later … though I had it charged, and ready, on my bedside cabinet, and picked it up for the next few mornings to enjoy it’s feel and silkiness before having to put it aside and carry on with my “normal” week-day activities.
So the anticipation level was quite high … perhaps too high. Because, come that opportunity, my “me-time” didn’t go quite as I’d hoped.
Because … the control buttons, whilst seemingly quite straightforward previously … proved to be not quite so easy “in practice” so to speak.
Now I’m a clit-girl really because, whilst I used to love and crave penetration in situations with one of my lovers, as time has moved-on I now find it is my clitoris which now drives my most passionate and engulfing moments. Especially during my “me-time” moments.
And I found that the strength of the vibrations that had seemed quite strong and interesting on my nose, wasn’t giving me quite that same sensation where I really needed it. And trying to position myself, and the tip(s) of the vibrator, for the most effective contact, was difficult to control. Especially as on the vibration-only setting, there are only three different power-levels of intensity. Pushing on the button so as to try to combine the highest intensity setting, with one of the 10 different levels of pulsing, or throbbing-rotation, does increase the intensity. So despite preferring the calmer, vibration-only setting, I persevered with trying the heavier “feel” of the pulsing/throbbing selection(s) to try to achieve the arousal I desired.
But what I was finding most frustrating was not having a button, or option, to go-back one setting to find the previous setting I’d just found, and possibly enjoyed a little more than this next sequence I now had. Instead, what I was having to do, was to hold down the main “power” button to turn the vibrator off, and then have to turn it on again and try to remember how many “presses” on the buttons I’d have to make to find the one I wanted to try for a little longer. To see if perhaps it could work for me.
Now, of course, like all things, with “me-time” fun … or any activity … trial and error is key isn’t it. So over the past two weeks I have “trialled and errored” several times since. Including experimenting with various positions and angles … and, with the help of lots of my favourite lube (always a necessity nowadays), several insertable positions. With both ends at the same time too. And I have found that the smoothness and flexibility of what can go where … and how deep … has been quite “interesting” and fun. And different and arousing in it’s own way too!
But unfortunately for me anyway, despite the arousal and excitement of those attempts, I haven’t been able to achieve the orgasm I had been hoping for.
And I think that the one single factor in my failure, has been that inability for me to easily find, and settle, on an intensity level that I need, to allow me to concentrate just on my pleasure and needs … and really close my eyes and let myself go.
But all this is just my experience, and my preference for clitoris-stimulation, and not so much for penetrative or G spot, or anal, stimulation. AND of course it may be completely different for someone else.
