I’m not usually one for “love at first touch” . . . well at least not for my toys! Normally I find it takes me several sessions, over the course of several days, or even weeks, to discover whether I really enjoy a new toy . . . or not, as the case may be. This is particularly true for new vibrating or insertable toys.
But . . . I am absolutely delighted to tell you that was not the case for the PinkBob Lust Silicone Rechargeable Wand!
Because this is, quite simply, the most wonderful . . . and powerful . . . vibrating cordless-wand I have ever experienced!!!
But first things first . . . let me start, where I should, at the very beginning . . .
Perhaps because of it’s light pinky colour, and possibly the criss-cross patterns on the handle, it made me think of an ice-cream cone when I first removed The Lust from it’s box. All light and fluffy . . . it looked rather “sweet and innocent” . . . possibly playful but probably quite ineffectual for a properly fulfilling play session I thought to myself.
I liked the lovely smooth silicone surface and the lightness of it in my hand though . . . so I was intrigued and curious as I plugged in the supplied USB charging cable for the first time.
PinkB.O.B.’s items are always nicely, and tastefully, packaged and The Lust comes in a stiff white cardboard box with the PinkB.O.B. logo itself, and a picture of the Lust on the reverse of the box, printed in a shiny glossy and slightly raised process. Hubby informs me this is called “Spot UV Laminating” . . . but I just know that it looks and “feels” nice. And I like it !!!
Inside the box the wand is inserted within it’s own nice silky draw-string bag which just adds to the classy and stylish feel of The Lust. And, being rechargeable, a USB cable and power plug is also supplied within the box.
The cable-prong pushes into a tiny hole in the base of the handle and being an American company (more on that below) the actual mains power plug is of the North American flat, two-pronged type.
But as it is a USB-cable it just simply detaches from the plug and can be used with any European USB charging plug, or can be easily plugged-into one’s computer . . . though I’d never be able to concentrate on working on my computer with the Lust sitting there next to me in full view!!!
The Lust takes around an hour to fully charge with the power button glowing red whilst charging and then going out when ready for play.
It is wonderfully light and the lovely silicone feel of the whole handle (save for an inch or so of plastic at the base) makes it easy to hold and operate. The handle tapers gently from a diameter of just over an inch or so at the bottom to about one and three quarters of an inch at the neck (about 5½ inches circumference).
This neck (about 2 cm in height and 2.5 cm in diameter) is slightly flexible so that the head of the Lust can gently tilt against one during use, to help achieve that “perfect angle”.
As you can see from my photos here, the head itself extends
2 inches (5cm) above the neck with a sort-of-domed top. The circumference here is also about 5½ inches, or just over 1½ inches in diameter . . . and it is absolutely LOVELY !!!
The overall length of the Lust from the tip of the base to the top of the head is 7¾ inches and, as I’ve already mentioned, is actually surprisingly light to hold in the palm of one’s hand . . . especially for the power it generates.
In fact it is so light, that to say I was surprised with the power of it’s vibrations would be a huge, huge understatement. Even when I first pushed the power button I could sense that it had quite a strong buzz . . . BUT it wasn’t until I slid it down over my lips that it’s true power, and intensity, truly hit me . . . and then . . . then I knew . . . I was in love!!!
So if clittoral-stimulus does it for you then look no further . . . because, as I said at the beginning, this is simply the most powerful cordless I have ever had the pleasure of playing with. And I mean PLEASURE . . . gasping, turning and squirming . . . pleasure.
And this amazing pleasure is selected from three subtle, touch-sensitive buttons, located halfway up the handle of The Lust. The power button turns the vibrations on and off, the top button is used to select slightly different levels of vibration speed, and the middle, pulse, button gives some rather surprising and fun variety of pulsing and throbbing sensations. But . . . actually . . . I personally prefer just the single-continuous standard vibration, adjusting the sensation for myself by sliding it up and down, and around and over, different parts of my lips and clit. Lifting it off for a few seconds and then sliding it down again. Pushing it harder against me . . . then lifting it away to just barely caressing my skin. Tilting it back and forth in different angles and even . . . and I know PinkB.O.B. would probably say I shouldn’t be doing this . . . just pushing that lovely smooth head gently inside me. Not far of course . . . but just enough, to turn that intensity into a throbbing, shuddering, explosion. It does it to me every time!!! . . . But, as I say, PinkB.O.B. would probably not recommend it’s use in this way, and in fact, the accompanying little** leaflet actually does say “please be advised not to press the wand tightly to your body as you could risk bending and damaging the head supporter” . . . so, do be warned. But, I just couldn’t resist !!!
And I also couldn’t resist using The Lust again . . . and again . . . several-times-over on that first evening. AND lots and lots of times since. In fact over the past few weeks it has been living under my pillow instead of being packed-away in my toy drawer as all my other toys normally would be.
However, I know I will have to try to exercise more will-power and deny myself The Lust more often though. Too much of something isn’t good for you . . . it’s just that I can’t help it, whenever I’m feeling horny and in need of a quick-release, out it comes.

The Lust Silicone Wand:
Modesty Rating: 10 out of 10
Pros: Lovely smooth silicone feel. Light and easy to hold. And the most powerful vibrations for a cordless wand I have ever felt.
Cons: **You know what my only complaint is? It’s that the accompanying instruction leaflet is SO small that, for a “mature lady” such as myself, even with my reading glasses, I could barely read it. I had to sneak it onto the office photo-copier and enlarge it several times to make it legible.
Material: Lovely smooth silicone.
Measurements: Overall Length 7¾ inches; Diameter just over 1½ inches..
Vibrations: Several different pulsing modes, and subtle changes of vibration speeds.
Noise: Surprisingly Moderate for such powerful buzzing!!!
Colour: Pink, of course, but almost a subtle violet-pink.
Power: Rechargeable via USB, so no batteries required, nor those annoying fixed power cables which often seem to get caught-up in things at the worst possible moment!!!
Lube: Use with water-based lube only.
Waterproof: No.
After-care: Obviously always wash with warm soapy water after, and before, use. (I use anti-bacterial wipes as well!).
