It’s always nice to discover new people and new organisations entering the Fetish market-place, particularly so when the company concerned is female-focussed, female run and female staffed!!! So I was delighted to hear about Pink B.O.B. and the fledgling Kink-side of their business, Masterkink . . . after-all, we all have a kink-side don’t we? (Well I know I do !!!).
Pink B.O.B. is a small, but growing company based in New Hampshire in the USA (close-ish to the bottom of the state line with Massachusetts, so not too far from Boston). The B.O.B. part of the Pink name stands for Battery Operated Boyfriend which always makes me smile warmly when I repeat it to myself as I’m sure we’d all like our “boyfriends” to be battery-operated from time to time!
But Pink B.O.B. has so much more than just battery-operated toys in their growing product range and I really do recommend my American readers especially, to visit their website as I think all of their products are extremely reasonably priced.
Earlier this year I reviewed their “Flexi Plug Suction Cup Anal Toy” and am currently having their vibrating cock-ring “road-tested” for me by one of my trusted “colleagues” . . . but for the purpose of this post I am especially excited to focus on two items from their Master Kink range. Two separate items which can, of course, be used together if the mood should take you . . . as it often does for me!
Firstly the Master Kink Breathable Ball Gag . . .
Now, I do quite frequently come across this item hanging from the “utensils” rack at various dungeons I use for my mistress sessions. But I have always been reticent to “re-use” them with my own companion(s) at the time. Almost all of the “toys” I use, or play with, during my own sessions, are my own. Items I have collected myself for home playtime with my No.1 submissive . . . because playtime fun always starts at home!
So I was thrilled to receive the Master Kink Breathable Ball Gag in the post . . . though I did see an immediate look of apprehension in No.1’s eyes as I unpacked it and dangled it before him.
But I’m happy to report that he soon felt better when I passed it to him to look at, and feel, for himself. I think because the ball itself has 10 small breathing holes, and being made from an ABS Plastic type material, it is actually quite light and smooth. (Unlike some of the harder rubber and wooden balls we’d come across in our “travels”). The leatherette-type straps are quite light as well, and also reasonably flexible . . . so he felt that perhaps it wouldn’t be quite so restrictive after all . . . and soon succumbed to my command (see below!).
The ball itself is approximately 2 inches in diameter and slides along a short (4”), thin strap which slots through the ball itself. This strap is then attached via light D-ring connectors to the main strap. Made from a patent-leather type material, the buckle end is almost six inches long, whilst the strap-end (with 9 holes for the fixing) is just over double that length. That means the ball gag and strap has an adjustable fit of between 14” to 21”.
The strap is 1” wide and approximately 4mm thick and . . . according to No.1 . . . is quite comfortable once attached. Although, of course . . . I am the one to do the attaching . . . I did briefly try it on myself (for the purpose of this review only of course!) and he is right, I found it quite easy to breath and experienced no unpleasant taste or discomfort.
But, as I said, I am the one to do the attaching, and I have now done so on several occasions at home . . . and also quite recently with another of my subs, in-session.
Which brings me to the very necessary subject of cleaning! Because, although the Master Kink Breathable Ball-Gag is very nicely packaged in a quite strong and stylish shiny-gloss box, there is very little product information on the box itself . . . and nothing about the best method of cleaning (the ball particularly). I always clean all my toys with anti-bacterial wipes, and hot soapy water, both before and after use and, so far at least, that has had no discernible negative impact on the ball itself. But I would have liked a little more specific information on that aspect.
However, that aside, this Master Kink Breathable Ball Gag is proving to be a wonderful and fun addition to my kink-box. And, if you are just beginning to explore some kinky fun at home . . . or even if, like me, you are expanding your horizons in your journey through Kink . . . I think this is an ideal starting point.
As is . . . The Master Kink Bondage Rope.
If you have been visiting me here for some time, you will know how much I love rope play. Not actually doing the binding, or rigging itself, but . . . for the times when I switch roles and allow myself to be bound and played with.
This doesn’t happen very often of course . . . I have to be in the right sort of mood . . . and then only with my “very” good friend and rope expert Lover No.14.
