Questions asked #wickedwednesday

When I first started publishing my Diary Entries here at modestyablaze, over four years ago now, I was surprised to suddenly start receiving email messages from all over the world, asking me all sorts of questions about my lifestyle and experiences.

Initially I diligently, and politely, tried to personally answer every question asked of me. Questions about how many lovers I’d had, how often I visited swinging clubs, what my sexual preferences were and how I started my “adventures”.

Many of the emails sought advice on the senders own personal circumstances or their relationships . . . and my reply invariably started with “I can only speak for myself” or “what works for me, may not work for everyone”.

But . . . as well as becoming quite overwhelmed with trying to keep up with answering every enquiry, (and finding that my answers often seemed to generate more questions from the same person) . . . I soon began to tire of repeating myself . . . having to give the same answers to the same questions . . . from different ends of the earth.

So I decided to set-up my “Questions You’ve Asked Me” page . . . and began to refer new emailed questions to there.

I don’t receive quite so many questions nowadays . . . (perhaps my posts aren’t quite so “ablazing” as they used to be LOL!!!) . . . and I seem to receive more questions from women than men lately which is nice and actually quite encouraging really . . . but that page does certainly still serve it’s purpose and, I hope, help and encourage people to feel that many of those “personal” feelings we all experience are not so strange or unusual after all.

AND . . . that usually talking about, communicating and sharing those feelings with others is the BEST answer of all!!!
