I must confess that I have never been a great fan of Clittoral-ticklers or cock rings with “extensions” or bumps and buttons designed to tickle-ones-fancy. In fact I’ve never even found that any of those Rabbit vibrators really do it for me either.

So when I received the “Tickling Rabbit Cock Ring” in a parcel from the lovely ladies at Pink B.O.B earlier this year, I was much more interested in the other items in the parcel . . . their Breathable Ball Gag and MasterKink Bondage Rope. So much more interested in fact, that I reviewed them >here< on my Sex Toys Review pages in May.

I didn’t completely forget about the Cock Ring of course . . . after all I’m always interested in having some fun by strapping different things onto my partners from time to time. So it has featured in several play sessions since it was first unpacked, but very recently, I came to suddenly change my opinion from considering it a fun-novelty accessory to a “wow that was nice” plaything.

But before I explain . . . let me tell you about it’s physical attributes and appearance . . . because you do need to know these things don’t you!

The ring arrives quite attractively packaged actually, in a three-section clear-plastic, dome. It is obviously designed to easily hang from those display hook thingys at your favourite sex-toy emporium. And cradled on it’s own little plinth within the dome, the ring itself almost looks like a translucent pink-shrimp with it’s bunny-ears curling up over the silver bullet towards you.

The top of the dome hinges open so that the ring can be lifted out and allow access to the three Batteries that are, nicely, included to power the vibrating bullet. The first thing that strikes you as you lift the ring is the light and pliable plastic material that it is made of. TPE plastic to be exact. TPE stands for “thermoplastic elastomer” which is apparently a physical mix of plastic and rubber. And I can certainly tell you it is very light and very stretchy and springy where it needs to be (the ring part silly) and yet surprisingly firm (soft-firm if you know what I mean) for the “body” of the rabbit-ears themselves.

The vibrating bullet is 2.25” long and about 17mm in diameter. It unscrews quite easily to allow the three batteries to be plopped inside. Yes THREE batteries and despite being quite light they really do deliver quite a strong buzzing sensation when one pushes the small button at one end of the bullet to turn the vibrations on. There are seven different vibrating functions, each of them quite intense actually, which are activated by a further push on the button. You just push once to advance to the next vibing pattern, some faster, some a little stronger, some pulsing quickly, some pulsing a little more slowly. To turn-off the buzzing altogether you just have to hold the button down for several seconds.

As I say the vibrations are quite powerful for such a small bullet and the vibrations certainly do transfer and carry through the body of the mini-rabbit to the ears themselves, and even to the more flexible-stretchy ring part. This ring looks a little bit like a life-buoy ring and on the inside (the part that makes contact with the skin of the wearer) it has 10 little ridges, designed I’m sure for extra stimulation!

The outer diameter of the ring is 45mm with the inner “core” being about 25mm in diameter. But it does stretch of course to over double that “capacity” . . . so can fit quite snugly over probably even the most well-endowed of your partners. The thickness of this circular (holding?) part of the ring is 11mm so it gives quite nice firm support as well as, according to my willing-helper, a strong “grip”.

Now as I mentioned, I’m never been a great fan for “tickling” accessories during sex . . . so the first experiences of play-time with the Pink B.O.B. Tickling Rabbit Cock Ring was some masturbation play with my afore-mentioned “helper”. I’d wanted him to tell me how the vibrations felt for him . . . on his cock. So I experimented (of course) with me sliding it up and down his willing erection, stretching it open and letting it slap-back against his man-shaft and turning it round . . . upside down if you like . . . so that the bunny-ears tickled against his balls.

His reaction was that the sensation was quite pleasurable without being “earth-shattering” . . . that was until I pushed the bullet harder against that sensitive part of his flesh where cock meets balls . . . and he actually climaxed very quickly. With large gasps from him . . . and delightful giggles from me! So for him, it turns-out that instead of making him last longer, it can actually have quite the opposite effect when worn that way-round and pushed against “that spot”.

And that’s largely how our, occasional, usage of the Tickling Rabbit Cock Ring remained . . . in fact we even featured a cameo appearance of exactly that sort of play on my “Me Time Collection” MLNP video several months ago.

But “playtime” is a funny thing sometimes isn’t it . . . because just last weekend Hubby lifted the ring out of our Toy Drawer and slipped it on (the right-way round) for “some loving cuddles” . . . and almost by accident we finally discovered the perfect position for those little ears to really, really work for me!!!

No, I’m not going to tell you how . . . you’ll just have to guess . . . but the reason I’m telling you about it now, and the reason I was suddenly reminded that I just had to review the Tickling Rabbit Cock Ring, is just to illustrate, once again, the point that sometimes “fun” just happens. Spontaneous, unplanned, when one is not trying too hard . . . and perhaps with a little help from some “fun play toys”.
