My Bondage Boutique Slim Riding Crop

What’s to review about a riding crop you may ask?

Well actually . . . despite it not having many moving or detailed parts to describe . . . this has become one of my most favourite, and most used, toys over the past few weeks. So much so, that I thought I just had to share my excitement and enthusiasm with you here.

And what has made it even more exciting is that it arrived totally by surprise as a gift from one of my followers via my “Wishlist page”.

I have owned one cane before (from a-n-other toy supplier) but it had snapped after just a few sessions, and quite mild usage really. So I’d just added the Bondage Boutique Crop from Lovehoney to my wishlist more out of mild curiosity and “when I have the time”, rather than “a must have” item.

So I was intrigued when a long, brown corrugated-cardboard box arrived at the office . . . and then absolutely delighted, and so flattered . . . when I opened it up and unravelled all the white tissue wrapping and packing, to discover a long black riding crop, in it’s sealed clear plastic bag, staring up at me from inside the box.

I just couldn’t wait to get it home and try it out. And, of course, my lovely and ever-willing Hubby, was only too pleased to submit!

The crop is 27 inches long from tip to tip, including it’s strong wooden handle (5½ inches long and 3/4 of-an-inch in diameter) with a lovely-to-feel 4½ inch long and 1½ inch wide leather slapper at the “business end”. That means 17 inches of a delightfully flexible, but surprisingly strong, shaft.

The crop is just wonderful to hold as the grooved handle seems to fit just naturally (lol!!!) in the palm of my hand, giving me immediate tingles of command and being in control. There is a thin leather strap attached to the handle, where it joins the shaft, which you can slide over your wrist if you wish, although I haven’t felt the need for that because, as I say, the handle just feels as though it “belongs” in my hand. (But I have actually found the strap very useful for hanging the crop up in my wardrobe after I’ve had my fun).

If just holding the crop makes me tingle, you can imagine how excited I feel as I begin to administer those first few strokes (gentle to begin with of course!!!). The “swishing” sound it makes as it swings through the air is wonderful . . . and then hearing, and watching, that smacking sound as the slapper makes it’s impact on my submissives bottom is simply thrilling. I just love it . . . and watching it swat from cheek to cheek with the shaft springing and bending in time to the sounds gives me an amazing feeling. It is command, and power I suppose . . . but fun as well, as I know (from his whimpers and then rising gasps) that my submissive is also loving every stroke.

The flexibility and strength of the shaft can, so I’m told (lol!!!), create quite an intense stinging . . . so I always pause after every dozen or so strokes to smooth my partners bum cheeks with the palms of my hand.

His cheeks feel perfectly smooth and warm . . . and have a wonderfully red glow (which the picture below doesn’t really do justice too).

And the slapper also seems just the perfect size and shape to teasingly slide, gently at first, and then “slap” with increasing firmness, against my submissives hanging balls as I command him to “lift your bum, come-on, up on your knees”.

In the two weeks or so since it arrived, I’ve had four or five evenings of fun which have begun with me pulling the Bondage Boutique Riding Crop from my wardrobe and ordering my submissive to “assume the position . . . NOW!!!”

Pros: Feels wonderful to hold . . . and to use !!!
Cons: I can’t think of any.
Material: Wood, plastic and leather.
Size: 27 inches from tip to tip.
Weight: Manageable . . . and strong!!!
Noise: Depends how hard you strike.
Ease of Use: Very easy.
Waterproof: I don’t know, but I wouldn’t put it in the bath.
Lube: Not required . . . but Arnica Cream might be helpful!
Cleaning: I would imagine just a wipe over with a clean cloth.
