Despite being so pleased with our Rental Car (from my previous #scavengerhunt 23) we still had the normal issues of finding somewhere to park in our visits to the down-town central city.
So we decided it was probably safest to use one of the Multi-Storey Car Parks . . . especially as they are quite cheap compared to what we would normally have to pay at home in London!
It was very busy on this occasion though and we had to park on one of the upper floors . . . which, of course, meant using the lifts on our return. But even for the short journey from the ground floor I felt they could certainly have benefitted from air-conditioning!!!
It was actually still quite warm even when we got back to the car . . . so I just had to have the window down as we left the car park and headed out onto the motorway.
But I did have to constantly remind my driver to concentrate on the road ahead . . . and to keep his hands completely on the steering wheel!!!
So it was quite a relief to end our journey safe and sound . . .
